Jamie joined Keep Scotland Beautiful in 2019. He is responsible for coordinating Scotland’s Beach Award as well as Green Flag Award for parks and greenspaces across the country.
Before joining us, Jamie was involved in various environmental conservation projects encouraging behaviour change in local communities. He was Community Engagement Officer at the Forth Rivers Trust promoting responsible river use in a multi-million-pound project funded by Heritage Lottery Fund and Scottish Government. Before that, as an Education Officer at Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, he was responsible for the delivery of a variety of conservation focussed education programmes. He went on to assist in the set up and delivery of a native species outreach project to schools and communities across all 32 local authorities in Scotland in a specially adapted double decker bus.
Jamie has a BSc (Hons) in Applied Marine Biology from Heriot-Watt University.
