Prior to moving to Scotland in 2016, Emma spent 10 years undertaking environmental impact assessment for the Western Australian Department of Environment, investigating a range of marine, coastal and land-based development proposals.

Emma has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Zoology and Botany from the University of Queensland (Australia) and a Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning from Griffith University (Australia).
