Campaigns and Interventions Officer (Cup Movement)

Emma is the Campaigns Officer for My Beach Your Beach, working with programme partners and local communities to care for our beaches and bathing waters through protecting the sand and sea.

Emma joined Keep Scotland Beautiful in 2021 as a Project Officer in the COP26 Youth Climate Programme delivering Climate Emergency Training to young people and youth workers throughout Scotland.

Before joining us, Emma was a Support for Learning Assistant in a high school Autism Provision, working with young people to support their learning and their engagement with mainstream school. Before moving to Scotland in 2016, Emma spent 10 years undertaking environmental impact assessment for the Western Australian Government, investigating a range of marine, coastal and land based development proposals.

Emma has a BSc (Hons) in Zoology and Botany from the University of Queensland in Australia.

Emma is also a Cub Leader for her local Scout Group and enjoys getting outdoors walking and cycling in the Scottish countryside.
