Training and Accreditation Officer

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Based in: Stirling, however due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation and in line with current Scottish Government guidance, you will initially be required to work from home

What the role is
Within this post you will provide professional training services to clients across sectors on a range of subjects, in particular climate change through our pioneering programme of Climate Emergency Training.  You will also provide accreditation and audit services across sectors, particularly our National Award for Environmental Excellence ® and Green Key.

What you’ll need to have
Knowledge and experience of helping people and organisations across Scotland understand more about the climate emergency and help them take action to combat climate change and other environmental problems is required for this role.  You will have experience and a flair for organising, preparing and delivering training to a range of sectors and audiences on environment and climate change subjects.  In addition, we are looking for a good knowledge of Scottish environment, climate change, circular economy, litter and waste policies and programmes and strong training and learning facilitation skills along with experience of presenting complex information clearly to a range of audiences.  

An understanding of ISO14001 and ISO14064 would be desirable as is previous experience of carbon footprinting and environmental auditing, albeit not essential.
