We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting our national behaviour change campaigns, in particular our Cup Movement and Upstream Battle campaigns.

Keep Scotland Beautiful is the charity that campaigns, acts and educates on a range of local, national and global environmental issues to change behaviour and improve the quality of people’s lives and the places they care for. We are committed to making Scotland clean, green and more sustainable.

Our Cup Movement campaign provides a unique and multifaceted solution to the issue of litter and waste produced from single-use cups. It has the potential to be the largest single-use cup collection and behaviour change initiative of its kind delivered anywhere in the UK. Upstream Battle is our ambitious campaign to change behaviour and prevent marine litter at source. Focused on the entire length of the River Clyde and its tributaries, we will raise awareness, gather evidence and inspire action. Connecting communities, individuals, schools, and the private and public sectors, everyone has a part to play in keeping the Clyde clean and protecting our seas.

Our ideal candidate will have good working knowledge of developing, organising and delivering large-scale campaigns and initiatives, along with experience of managing complex projects and financial and budget management. Experience of coordinating and supporting volunteer participation and maintaining and developing press, media and PR activity is also required as is knowledge and understanding of relevant environmental policy.

For an informal discussion about the role please contact Paul Wallace, Operations Manager on 01786 471333.

Closing date for completed applications: midnight, Sunday 13 January 2019

Interviews: week commencing 21 or 28 January 2019
