Administration Assistant, Climate Challenge Fund

We are seeking an Administration Assistant to provide a wide range of finance based administrative support services primarily to the Climate Challenge Fund Development Officers to assist in the smooth running of the Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) grants payment process.

We have administered and managed the Climate Challenge Fund on behalf of the Scottish Government since the Fund was introduced in 2008.To date the CCF has made over 1000 awards to community led organisations totalling more than £100 million.

Applications are sought from candidates who feel that they have the necessary experience and qualifications to undertake this role. The ideal candidate will have experience of administering grant claims along with skills and experience of payroll processes. Excellent administrative skills (including telephone and email etiquette) and a variety of IT skills are also essential. They will also have experience of resource coordination, time management and problem solving.
