Advice and support to get your message across.
Keep Scotland Beautiful has almost ten years’ of experience of providing advice and support about resource management to a range of different stakeholders and partners.

We work regularly with local authorities across Scotland, offering advice and support on such topics as infrastructure, the development of communication materials and the development and delivery of awareness-raising activities.

Material Development
Keep Scotland Beautiful has extensive experience in developing and delivering innovative materials across a variety of subjects, including over 130 different materials for local authorities in 2010.

Campaign concepts can be tested using focus groups and independent market research to ensure that they are fit for purpose and meet your aims and objectives.

Our recycling campaign won the ISWA Communications Award and a Green Award for press and outdoor in 2009.

Communication Strategies
The team can work with you to develop comprehensive and effective communication strategies. Strategies can be tailored to a wide range of circumstances including:
  • Implementation of new schemes;
  • Changes to current systems;
  • Optimisation of existing services;

Recycling Advisor Support
Our recycling advisors support organisations that wish to undertake a specific monitoring and intervention programme. We can support organisations that want to:
  • Monitor recycling containers for the monitoring period;
  • Identify baseline data and participation rates;
  • Distribute infrastructure to allow participation;
  • Assess the effect of interventions to increase participation rates.

We can also offer full time seconded posts to support you throughout your campaign.
Surveys
Keep Scotland Beautiful has conducted a wide range of surveys over the past ten years on an extensive variety of subject areas such as:
  • Public satisfaction
  • Attitudes and behaviours
  • Behaviour change
  • Planning future changes

We have also sourced generic opinion from local residents across Scotland about environmental issues in their area.
