John has been a Director / Trustee with KSB for 10 years. He has recently retired from being an environmental consultant, firstly with SLR in Edinburgh and latterly with IKM in Perth.
Prior to that, John was Director of Business Development with Shanks Waste Services, based in Coatbridge, with particular responsibilities for long-term waste disposal and recycling contracts with Local Authorities, and being Director in charge of Special Wastes treatment facilities in Glasgow and Aberdeen.
John graduated from Heriot-Watt University in 1973 with an honours degree in Chemistry. He served on the Scottish Centre Council of CIWM for six years and was Chairman of SESA for four years.
