Friends of Stonehouse Park

Alexander Hamilton Memorial Park, AKA Stonehouse Park, is a multi-levelled park with an extensive pathway network leading to all levels. It includes a historic bandstand, three children’s play areas, an outdoor gym, picnic areas and a multi-use games area. Seating is available throughout the park, which offers stunning views over the River Avon and valley. Friends of Stonehouse Park organise events to encourage more people to use the park. They hold annual events such as an Easter Egg Hunt, Gala Duck Race, Halloween Fright Night & Christmas Elf day. They also have monthly, free outdoor play activities for children, nursery to primary school age, where children explore their surroundings, search for fossils and look for wildlife. The group also holds regular litter picking, garden and bulb planting.
