Abundant Borders - Foulden community garden

Abundant Borders is a group of like-minded people who care about harnessing the fertility of the Border’s people & land to create a network of local food production, small-scale forest gardening and enterprise skills.

Working with partners, they aim to help alleviate food poverty & ensure that everyone, regardless of personal circumstances, can access healthy, nutritious food. They work with local people, as experts & volunteers, an foster an interest in growing & seeking out locally produced food.

Abundant Borders has a few sites involving volunteers, young & unemployed people. Those involved learn about building soils, growing food, preparing healthy meals and developing skills to grow self-dependency & promote healthy living.
