Abundant Borders - Eyemouth community garden

Abundant Borders works within the community to create a network of community food gardens across the Scottish Borders. The community food gardens are a training base for people to learn how to grow food in a sustainable way and then how to turn that food into healthy, inexpensive meals. The organisation’s aim is that everyone, regardless of personal circumstances, should have access to healthy, nutritious food. There is also a focus on social interaction within the gardens as a means of reducing social isolation, and they seek to make the gardens as inclusive as possible to all members of the communities they serve.
