DISSERTATIONS FOR GOOD – NEW INITIATIVE FROM NUS
The National Union of Students (NUS) has launched a new initiative – Dissertations for Good - that connects students with organisations to complete research projects together into social, economic and environmental sustainability.
Dissertations for Good ran as a pilot project over the 2014/15 academic year and produced 12 projects, including: energy tariffs in Islington Borough Council; challenges accessing food in Plymouth, and; a critical review of current climate change information for building adaptation.
Students and representatives from members organisations are now invited to register online and create profiles, and both can search the database to find appropriate partners.
Dissertations for Good have developed a briefing document for further information.
