Register for Pass it on Week

Scotland's annual week of action for re-use from 11th-19th March

Scotland's annual re-use week returns from 11th-19th March. The week is a chance to swap, share, donate or repair many items - from clothes to bikes, from books to sports kit, from gadgets to tools.

You can register your event at www.recycleforscotland.com/submit-an-event

There is plenty of scope for projects currently funded through the Scottish Government's Climate Challenge Fund to become involved with 70 projects including reducing, reusing or recycling of waste in their activities. Any action taken for Pass it on Week can be listed – even really basic things like a book swap in the office or promoting your local re-use organisations. Charities can list that they are looking for certain items, for example a donation drive for children’s clothes.

There is also a toolkit available on the Zero Waste Scotland website that includes editable templates such as posters to help your organisation to publicise Pass it on Week activities.

We're pleased to be hosting two activities for staff at Keep Scotland Beautiful to take part in; a collection site for the Big Electric Amnesty and a Clothes and Accessories Swap Shop on 17 March.
