LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER FOR THE FIRST ANNUAL BEHAVIOURS EVENT

The Sustainable Scotland Network is hosting its First Annual Behaviours (FAB) event is taking place on the 15th of May 2015 in Glasgow. The event programme is now available on SSN’s website. Organised by the SSN staff team at Keep Scotland Beautiful, this event is an opportunity to hear about progress on low carbon behaviours work and learn how other organisations are applying the Scottish Government's Individual, Social, Material (ISM) behaviours approach to help reduce their carbon footprint, improve energy efficiency, promote active travel, encourage recycling, etc.

TESCO BAG CHARGE CASH REACHES COMMUNITIES

Keep Scotland Beautiful has started to distribute the proceeds of the bag charge, in partnership with Tesco, to 200 community groups across Scotland.

The names of successful applicants to the community grant scheme, funded through the 5p bag charge collected by Tesco, were announced on Tuesday 5 May. The individual awards of £250 will allow groups to make small improvements to their local environments.
