International Connections

Our activities are linked to Scottish, UK and international policy. We seek to lead relevant policy debate and to shape our activities to ensure that we support sustainable development.

We are actively involved in three key areas of international activity: through our work with the Clean Europe Network; our membership of the Foundation of Environmental Education (FEE); and our support delivering United Nations activities.

We have been a member of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) since 1995 when we started to coordinate the Eco-Schools programme in Scotland.
We are proud to support the work of the United Nations, in particular the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
We were a founding member of the Clean Europe Network, a coalition of organisations co-ordinated at EU level by the European Litter Prevention Association.
