Introduction to ISM (Individual, Social, Material)

This ½ day course is suitable for anyone with responsibility for developing, implementing or assessing behaviour change projects and programmes within their organisation. The course provides an introduction to the ISM framework and approach to understanding and influencing behaviours and decision-making. The course content focuses on barriers and challenges in the context of climate change and sustainability, however the framework can be applied to a variety of change management issues.

The course provides an overview of behavioural change theory including values, attitudes and framing, supplemented with case studies and practical examples, including workshop participation.

  • Build confidence in applying ISM to enable determination of where, when and how to apply the framework.
