LEQ Network Awards Lunch

We are pleased to announce the 2017 Local Environmental Quality (LEQ) Awards will be presented at an awards lunch on Wednesday 15th March at the Golden Lion in Stirling from 11am-3pm.

The annual awards celebrate success across Keep Scotland Beautiful’s LEQ Network which aims to improve the cleanliness and quality of the environment on publicly accessible land in Scotland. Membership of the network is open to all environment improvement professionals, including local authorities, major land managers and private sector organisations. The LEQ Network aims to ensure best practise is shared amongst those responsible for maintaining Scotland’s open spaces.

Network Awards  - Deadline Monday 27th February

Shortlisting will take place at the end of Monday 27th February and finalists will be announced that week.

The award categories have been designed to reflect the widening environmental agenda faced by local authorities and major landowners. The awards offer an opportunity for public and private sectors to gain recognition for the environmental improvements that they are developing and/or undertaking through their projects and activities.

In addition to the original two awards Support of Communities and Improved Local Environmental Quality, we have introduced two new awards; Successful Campaign and Outstanding Team.

As with last year, there are two awards which will be selected and presented by us: Programme Manager of the Year and Programme of the Year.
