0730 Get up, feed the chickens, walk the dog, check the news.
0800 Check the Diary at home to see where my destinations are for the day - I will need to take my bike, my inflatable earth and my big pop up footprint.
0830 Get on bike nip to work, takes all of 3 seconds as I live 200 meters from the office.
0835 Turn on computer, check emails & phone messages, normally have a quick cup of coffee before 9am.
09.00 Pack my bag with extras for school, I am running 3 workshops this morning; one is a waste workshop with P1’s, the other 2 workshops are outside, must remember my giant size piece of chalk.
0920 Cycle to the school, first workshop is about waste & reuse- show the pupils how to make their own tetra pack wallets, the next workshops are a movement based activity where the pupils are a human moving graph pacing out their carbon footprints & they learn how big or small their impacts are & then what they can do about it.
1230 Nip home for lunch, it’s a 5 minute cycle, make an omelette out of Joyce’s Eggs (Joyce is one of our chickens).
1315 Head to the office drop off materials & pick up meeting notes for a carbon cutter group, cycle to the meeting- it’s up hill so I give myself an extra 5 minutes to compensate. The meeting is reviewing current activity to date & then planning the next 6 months of carbon cutting activity for the group, they agree to a new list of actions to focus on & to run 2 events at the group- a Swish event & pedal power smoothy event. They also decide to investigate a bulk buying scheme for the group.
1530 Head back to the office, deliver some evaluation to Sarah, in the form of a carbon cutter plan and 6 monthly group evaluations.
1600 Send some text messages to student carbon league participants, check emails & then schedule for following day
1700 Head home for the evening- Wonder what is for tea???
