Paula joined us in 2007 as an Assessment Officer with the Eco-Schools Scotland programme. She has worked extensively across Scotland, from Shetland in the north to Dumfries and Galloway in the south, carrying out assessment visits, supporting schools and delivering Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions to teachers.
Paula is an experienced archaeologist who taught for ten years before transferring her interest on the effects of ancient man on the landscape to supporting young people in caring for their local environment and embracing their role as global citizens.
She holds an MA in Archaeology, a Masters in Theology and a PGCE (Secondary) from the University of Glasgow. She is a member of the General Teaching Council of Scotland and a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland. In her spare time, Paula volunteers with the National Trust for Scotland in the Western Isles.
