Laura Watson
Laura joined Keep Scotland Beautiful in May 2022 as Campaigns Officer for Clean Up Scotland.
Before joining us, Laura worked in a variety of roles in conservation and the environment. This includes research roles covering the South Adriatic Sea and Wales, community engagement projects in the UK and marine environmental consulting in the Highlands.
Laura has BSc Honours in Applied Animal Science from Scotland’s Rural University and College and a MSc in Wildlife Biology and Conservation from Edinburgh Napier University.
Laura loves the outdoors and enjoys paddleboarding, surfing and open water swimming. She is a trained British Divers Marine Life Rescue Medic and is involved with numerous citizen science projects including WWF – Walrus from Space, and the Humpback Whale Archive project with the Alaska Whale Foundation.
