Laura joined us in 2012 as an Assessment Officer with the Eco-Schools Scotland programme and has visited many schools and early years establishments across central Scotland. She loves seeing how enthusiastic young people are about the programme and the commitment they have for taking positive environmental action in school and beyond the school gates. She enjoys discovering the inspiring ways young people are learning about global issues and using their learning to encourage others to become part of the solution.
Laura has a PGDE (Primary) from University of Strathclyde and is a member of the General Teaching Council of Scotland. Prior to joining us she was employed as a supply primary teacher in a variety of settings. She also has a BA (Hons) Human Resource Management from University of Strathclyde and has worked in learning and development roles across the Scottish charity sector.
