Katarzyna joined Keep Scotland Beautiful in 2017 as a Development Officer for the Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) to work with communities to develop new projects and support grant recipients with projects to reduce carbon emissions. She provides support with project implementation and monitoring.
Before joining the CCF team, Katarzyna worked with us while conducting her master dissertation research on low-carbon behaviour change projects, as result she identified barriers and drivers to adopting the ISM framework and proposed further developments.
Prior to joining us, Katarzyna gained international experience working in Poland, Switzerland and Netherlands. Working for AIESEC, a global non-profit organization she gained experience of volunteer development and project management. She also brings the practical knowledge of creating communication and engagement plans for sustainability programmes gained during her work for the food company Mondelez International.
Katarzyna holds an MSc in International Marketing with Sustainability from Heriot-Watt University and a BSc in Economics gained in Poland. She is also a Committee Member of Slow Food Edinburgh leading communication activities.
