Colin has worked for Keep Scotland Beautiful for over twelve years, although has worked in the private and third sector for over sixteen years. He has an extensive technical and operational knowledge of environmental legislation and was involved in the writing of the Code of Practice for Litter and Refuse (Scotland) 2006.
Colin is a highly experienced trainer, and has provided environmental operations and legislative training for nine years. He has written, co-ordinated and been involved in a great number of environmental quality surveys at a local, national and UK wide level and was the LEAMS national Co-ordinator for Scotland from 2003 to late 2009.
Of late Colin has been at the forefront in developing the National Award for Environmental Excellence and continues to develop and nurture commercial projects with KSB.
He has excellent organisational, facilitation and computer skills and is an experienced report writer. He has been an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) since 2003.
